Will PBS ever see a piece of Hulu’s action?

Insiders are reporting that Hulu will start testing a subscription service, charging $9.95 month for premium content, as early as May 24.  If Hulu follows in the footsteps of cable, it would stand to reason that it would soon be charging for all content, which would mean viewers would be paying for access to PBS programming.  Whether PBS would see a dime has yet to be seen, but it seems unlikely given that cable providers don’t share the action with PBS.  If PBS has its own video “portal”, why would it allow Hulu (and its owners: News Corp., NBC Universal and the Walt Disney Co) to profit from content that PBS does, as well it should, offer viewers for free?
